The Log Book

Prior to 2009, the history of the Spring Grove Morris Men consisted of press cuttings, photographs and reports lovingly preserved in albums referred to as "The Archive".  Since the digital age took hold (well, 2009 to be precise) the Squire has sent reports of each and every event by email, these are captured and form the year's Log Book.  Included are programmes from 2004 to 2008, produced as A4 posters and found in the bagman's boxfile. They lack descriptive detail but give a flavour of the year.

The Archives covering 1977-1989, long buried in dusty corners of old members' houses, have been uncovered. In them lay

Kingston At Leisure

treasures untold, including Squire's Reports from past AGMs that highlight the year's achievements; these were with Kingston Museum along with an equally ancient set of baldrics, bells and hat for an exhibition "Kingston at Leisure - All Fun and Games" that ran from Saturday 9th April to Saturday 28th May 2011.  Now the Archives have returned, they can be added to the Log Book pages.
