Spring Grove's constitution requires us to collect and donate to charity. Here is a list of charities we, and our associated side Kingston Morris (since 2012), have supported and, where noted in old AGM minutes, the sums donated. Sadly the more detailed Treasurer's reports have not survived. It produces an interesting view on the health of the side over the years and when there was less activity and consequentially less collecting. 2019 supporting The Fircroft Trust 2018 £800 Princess Alice Hospice 2017 £1000 All About Alie 2016 £1000 Home-Start 2015 £1000 Teenage Cancer Trust 2014 £1000 Age UK split between Kingston and Richmond branches2013 £1150 Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness and Richmond SPEAR 2012 £823 British Heart Foundation 2011 £800 Shooting Star Trust and Born Too Soon 2010 No comment in the AGM minutes 2009 Shooting Star Trust and Ladder To The Moon 2008 £1000 Kingston Can 2007 n/a Due to the careless loss of a Treasurer no charity was set, so double bubble next year. 2006 £22.50 Alzheimer’s Society 2005 £220 "Pat Nash's cancer charity" 2004-1999 No AGM minutes survive 1998 £207 Undefined "charitable donations" 1997 £180 Save the Children, Shopmobility, Meningitis Society, Macmillan Nurses, Imperial Cancer Research 1996 £100 Save the Children Prior to 1996 charitable donations are not mentioned in the AGM minutes.
